Development of advanced technology for detection of strange materials and profile of textures INSIDEFOOD. RTC-2014-2065-2

The main objective of Insidefood is the development of an X-ray visualization and identification system for automatic detection of different geometries and densities presented by foods, for quality evaluation and possible contamination with foreign bodies. This development has been particularized in two non-marketable prototypes applied to two types of industries with very different needs which are the production of industrial bakery and the processing, selection, and packaging of citrus fruits.
